ORLANDO — A property owner is suing Prepared Insurance Company for alleged breach of contract.

Joseph Sadek filed a complaint on June 21 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that his property suffered damages on March 26, 2016 due to severe weather, which required roof replacement. The plaintiff claims that the defendant has yet to fulfill its duty under the terms of the insurance policy to cover and pay all of his damages and losses.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly breached its obligations under the insurance policy by failing to cover the full property damage to his residence.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for property damage, personal property and/or loss of use plus interest, costs and attorney's fees. He is represented by Steven M. Johnson of Johnson & Williams PA in Orlando.
