ORLANDO — A patron is suing Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. Inc. for alleged negligence.
Adrienne Gallahue filed a complaint on June 21 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment for its patrons.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was on defendant’s premises on July 9, 2016 when she slipped and fell due to a liquid on the floor, which reportedly caused her to suffer bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of earnings and the aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to maintain proper procedures to ensure that the floors were clean and clear of all liquids inspect or adequately warn the plaintiff of said danger.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages in excess of $15,000 plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and other such relief deemed proper by the court. She is represented by W. Clay Mitchell Jr of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
