Law money 04

MIAMI – A salesman alleges his former employers did not pay him a minimum wage.

Gus Irizarry filed a complaint on Jan. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Excelium Management LLC, Family Office LP, Vincent Chhabra, Sushma Chhabra, Key Legal Services LLC and Mitchell Hammer citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked as an inside sales person from July 2016 to November 2016. The plaintiff holds Excelium Management LLC, Family Office LP, Vincent Chhabra, Sushma Chhabra, Key Legal Services LLC and Mitchell Hammer responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff minimum wages or overtime at a rate of time-and-one-half.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Christopher J. Whitelock of Whitelock & Associates PA in Fort Lauderdale.
