TAMPA – A certified household manager and personal chef alleges he is owed wages from his former Hillsborogh County employer.

Kevin Wigfall filed a complaint on Jan. 17 in the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Hillsborough County against Nathan Michael Bisk citing the Fair Labor Standards Act, negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was misclassified as an independent contractor, was not paid overtime compensation at a rate of time-and-one-half, and was not paid commissions and bonuses. The plaintiff holds Bisk responsible because the defendant allegedly also failed to provide a safe workplace to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Kamilah L. Perry of The Perry Law Group LLC in Tampa.
