ORLANDO, Florida — Four former employees are suing DCS Enterprises Inc., d/b/a Charley's Steakery, and David Stewart and Sue Stewart, alleging violation of wage laws.

Vanessa Prada, Kristy Lockwood, Demetric Green and Jimmy Walker filed a complaint on Nov. 28, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against the defendants alleging that they failed to pay proper wages to the plaintiffs.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they did not receive proper overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week, and that Walker was not properly paid a minimum wage at all times. They hold the defendants responsible for allegedly violating wage laws.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek all back wages due and owing, liquidated damages, all legal fees, an order for the defendant to pay a $1,000 fine, declaratory relief, and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by Peter Bober and Samara Bober of Bober & Bober, P.A. in Hollywood.
