A passenger accuses Royal Caribbean Cruises of unsafe conditions that led to injuries

Cruise 01

FLORIDA — A passenger is suing Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., a cruise ship company, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Amada Gonzalez filed a complaint on Nov. 28, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. alleging that the cruise ship company failed to properly mark the different areas aboard their vessel for passenger safety.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered a fall causing physical injuries to her body. The plaintiff holds Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition on the vessel.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages, and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Robert C. Rogers of Lawrence J. Bohannon, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
