MIAMI — A man is suing Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company, citing alleged breach of contract.
Steven R. Bowles filed a complaint on Nov. 22, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company, that the insurance firm improperly denied his claim for disability benefits.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2013, he became disabled and was initially being paid disability benefits until they were terminated. The plaintiff holds Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Company responsible because the defendant allegedly terminated his disability claims despite his continuing disability according to the terms of the plan.
The plaintiff seeks payment of disability benefits, reinstatement, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Alexander A. Palamara and Gregory Michael Dell of Attorneys Dell and Schaefer, Chartered in Hollywood.
