Woman claims Credence Resource Management invaded privacy with calls

Phone 03

MIAMI – A woman alleges she was called hundreds of times by a debt collector.

Rose Cherubin filed a complaint on Nov. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Credence Resource Management LLC alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from receiving hundreds of collection calls from the defendant. The plaintiff holds Credence Resource Management LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly used an automatic telephone dialing system to call plaintiff and invaded her privacy.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks statutory damages of $1,500 for each and every violation, to enjoin the defendant, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by George N. Andrews of Loan Lawyers LLC in Fort Lauderdale.
