Tint World accused Tint Store Pompano Beach of using trademark

Trademark 05

MIAMI – A Boca Raton company claims a Pompano Beach corporation is using its registered trademark.

Tint World LLC filed a complaint on Nov. 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against The Tint Store Pompano Beach Inc. alleging trademark infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages to its business. The plaintiff holds The Tint Store Pompano Beach Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly started its business using plaintiff's mark.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks immediate seizure of all counterfeit goods, enjoin the defendant, deliver for destruction all infringing materials, award all profits derived from the infringing act to the plaintiff, all legal fees and interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Scott M. Behren of Behren Law Firm in Weston.
