MIAMI — A former employee is suing James S. Coleman of Nassau, New York, claiming the employer owes her unpaid wages.
Iris Livingston filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Coleman, alleging that the employer failed to pay her for work she performed at Dream Recovery International, an addiction treatment center.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Dream Recovery filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and failed to pay her for some hours she worked. The plaintiff holds Coleman responsible for the alleged failure to pay.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
