Driver files suit after accident near Lee Vista Boulevard

Car accident 13

ORLANDO An Orange County motorist claims he was injured after another driver allegedly ran a red light.

Deyon Wiliams filed a complaint on Sept. 1 in the 9th Circuit Court for Orange County against Kassandra Velazquez-Vazquez and Ramon Velazquez alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 13, while he was driving at the intersection of state Road 15 and Lee Vista Boulevard, Kassandra Velazquez-Vazquez was operating Ramon Velazquez's motor vehicle and collided with the plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff alleges the incident caused him to sustain serious and permanent injuries, including loss of important bodily functions, scarring, aggravation of an existing condition, mental anguish, medical expenses and loss of earning capacity.

The plaintiff holds Kassandra Velazquez-Vazquez and Ramon Velazquez responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to a red traffic signal.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendant, for personal injury including losses, costs, interest and further relief as may be just by the court. He is represented by Jason P. Herman of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
