Loomis Armored US allegedly owes former employee overtime wages

Law money 06

JACKSONVILLE — A former employee claims he is owed unpaid overtime wages.

Edwin Ray Salgado filed a complaint on Aug. 25 in Florida 4th Judicial Circuit Court, Duval County, against Loomis Armored US LLC, alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate the plaintiff for all of the hours he worked each week.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Loomis Armored US LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premium for hours worked that exceeds 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages at the legal rate, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Paul Shortstein of Shortstein, Lasnetski & Gihon LLC in Jacksonville.
