Lighting Science Group Corp. alleges NY companies sell infringing products

ORLANDO – A Cocoa Beach business alleges two New York companies manufacture lights that infringe its patents.

Lighting Science Group Corp. filed a complaint on July 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against the defendants alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages as the result of its patents for a low-profile light and its accessories being infringed by the defendants. The plaintiff holds Wangs Alliance Corp. and WAC Lightning responsible because the defendants allegedly imports and sells their products that infringing the plaintiff's patents.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks preliminary and permanent injunction against the defendant, award damages to plaintiff, treble damages, compulsory ongoing royalty, all legal fees and interest and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Mark F. Warzecha of Widerman Malek PL in Melbourne.
