MIAMI – A New York man alleges he was injured when he struck another person while using a water slide aboard a cruise ship.
Conner Crandall filed a complaint on July 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Carnival Corp., doing business as Carnival Cruise Lines, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 19, 2015, he struck another passenger at the bottom of the water slide on the Carnival Breeze, causing serious and permanent injuries to the plaintiff. The plaintiff holds Carnival Corp. responsible because the defendant's crew member allegedly allowed plaintiff to proceed to descend from the water slide despite knowing that another passenger had not cleared the bottom of the slide.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment, interest and costs and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Glenn J. Holzberg of Holzberg Legal in Miami.
