WEST PALM BEACH – A Texas company has filed suit against a Boca Raton business alleging it failed to pay for medical billing services it provided.

SysInformation Healthcare Services LLC, doing business as EqualizeRCM Services, filed a complaint on March 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, West Palm Beach Division against Med-Care Diabetic & Medical Supplies Inc., citing alleged breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that as of Feb. 3, it suffered damages in the amount of $496,406.61 in unpaid bills. The plaintiff holds Med-Care Diabetic & Medical Supplies Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide notice on any disputed charges and failed to pay its obligation for the services performed under the agreement.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages; prejudgment interest; attorneys’ fees and costs; and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Charles M. Tatelbaum, Christina V. Paradowski and Angelo Castaldi of Tripp Scott PA in Fort Lauderdale.
