The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors unanimously voted to reject proposals that would have allowed people who are not lawyers to own law firms and share legal fees.
On July 12, 2021, the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission elevated Miranda L. Soto of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, PC to serve as Chair and elected Pedro Allende, Esq. to serve as Vice Chair of the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for 2021- 2022.
