A shocking lawsuit has been filed in Palm Beach County, Florida, alleging defamation and professional negligence by a mental health counselor and her employer. On April 21, 2025, Thomas William Beasley III submitted a complaint against Danielle Kosek, LMHC, and Marriage & Family Services Inc., accusing them of fabricating reports that falsely portrayed him as a danger to his children.

According to the complaint, Beasley claims that Kosek conspired with his former spouse, Christina La Ferrera, to produce defamatory psychological reports used in legal proceedings against him. These reports allegedly accused Beasley of being an "endangerment" to his two minor children based on unverified statements from La Ferrera and their young son. The reports were dated May 17, 2023, and February 21, 2025. Beasley asserts that these documents were manufactured without any direct evaluation or contact with him and were solely based on biased accounts from his ex-wife.

The complaint details how these reports led to multiple legal actions initiated by La Ferrera against Beasley. However, each case was dismissed or withdrawn due to lack of evidence. Notably, evidence suggests that Beasley's son was coached by La Ferrera to make false allegations of abuse—a fact supported by recorded video admissions from the child and confirmed by police reports. Officer Ricci's report noted inconsistencies in the child's statements and suspected coaching by the mother.

Beasley accuses Kosek of malpractice for failing to conduct an independent investigation before submitting her damaging reports. He claims this violated ethical standards set forth by the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics and the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work. The complaint also alleges that Kosek's actions caused severe damage to Beasley's reputation within the South Florida community.

In response to these allegations, Beasley seeks compensatory damages totaling $2 million for reputational harm, emotional distress, loss of business opportunities, and interference with his parental rights. Additionally, he requests punitive damages for willful misconduct and gross negligence on behalf of the defendants. Furthermore, Beasley seeks injunctive relief prohibiting Kosek from filing further false reports or making defamatory statements about him.

The case is filed under Case No.: 502025CA003903 in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County. Thomas William Beasley III represents himself pro se in this matter.
