In a dramatic legal filing, an Indianapolis resident has taken legal action against two Florida-based entities over alleged negligence that resulted in significant personal injury. The complaint was filed by Masoomeh S. Ardalan in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, on January 21, 2025, naming Campbell Property Management and Real Estate, Inc., and Corniche Condominium Apartment Association of the Palm Beaches, Inc. as defendants.

The lawsuit stems from an incident on February 15, 2021, when Ardalan visited a property located at 5200 N Ocean Drive #602 in Riviera Beach, Florida. According to the complaint, Ardalan was present on the premises as a business invitee when she suffered injuries due to what she claims were negligent acts by both defendants. The complaint accuses both entities of failing to maintain safe conditions on their property and not addressing or warning about hazardous conditions they allegedly knew or should have known existed.

Ardalan's legal team argues that both Campbell Property Management and Corniche Condominium Apartment Association are liable for her fall due to their failure to ensure safe premises. "Defendant created a dangerous condition," states the complaint, emphasizing that this negligence led directly to Ardalan's injuries which include bodily harm, pain and suffering, mental anguish, and other long-term effects such as loss of earnings and diminished quality of life.

The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $30,000 but remains uncertain if it surpasses $75,000. She demands compensation for medical expenses incurred due to hospitalization and ongoing care needs resulting from the incident. Additionally, Ardalan requests further equitable relief deemed appropriate by the court and insists on a jury trial for all issues eligible for such proceedings.

Representing Masoomeh S. Ardalan is attorney Matthew T. Forrester from Wolfson & Leon law firm based in Miami. The case is under Case Number: 502025CA000531 XXXAMB.
