Best Lawyers has awarded Shook five National Tier 1 rankings in the Best Lawyers in America 2025 report of “Best Law Firms.” Shook’s Appellate Practice moved up to a Tier 1 ranking joining four other litigation services. The appellate group has successfully represented parties in numerous substantive areas and played a key role in developing potential revisions to federal and state court rules. Shook’s Class Action and Appellate Practice is led by Partners Tristan Duncan, Michael Mallow, Amir Nassihi and Florida/Eleventh Circuit Appellate Practice Team Chair, Dan Rogers.

Best Lawyers ranked Shook’s Denver office for commercial litigation for the first time. “In our first ten years in the Denver office, we have continued to build out our local capabilities and support clients with commercial and liability litigation, data privacy, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, product safety and risk avoidance,” said Denver Managing Partner Paul Williams.
