Widney Roberts has filed a lawsuit alleging negligence after suffering injuries due to an unsecured window at a residential property. The complaint was filed on October 22, 2024, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, against defendants 22573 SW 66th Ave FL LLC doing business as The Luxe at Boca and RAM Partners, LLC.

According to the complaint, Widney Roberts was injured on March 10, 2023, when a window fell and struck her while she was present at the premises located at 22349 SW 66th Ave, #1008, Boca Raton, Florida. The lawsuit claims that both defendants were aware of the dangerous condition posed by the unsecured window but failed to take appropriate action to rectify it. The plaintiff asserts that the defendants had actual or constructive knowledge of this hazardous condition and neglected their duty to maintain a safe environment for residents and invitees.

The legal filing outlines several accusations against both defendants. It alleges that they were negligent in creating an unreasonably dangerous condition by allowing the existence of an unsecured window that they knew or should have known about. Furthermore, they are accused of failing to inspect and maintain the premises adequately and not warning Roberts about the potential danger. As a result of these alleged failures, Roberts suffered serious bodily injuries including physical handicap and disfigurement. She also claims mental pain and suffering along with loss of income and enjoyment of life due to her injuries.

Roberts is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from each defendant for their alleged negligence. She requests compensation for medical expenses incurred due to her injuries as well as any future costs related to ongoing treatment. Additionally, she demands a jury trial for all issues triable by right.

The case is being handled by attorney Steven Saul from Fenstersheib Law Group P.A., representing Widney Roberts. The case identification number is 502024CA010135XXXAMB.
