In the Circuit Court for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida, Mikhael Gerdov has filed a lawsuit against Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Inc. The case, identified as 24-002152-CI, was e-filed on May 15, 2024. Gerdov alleges that he suffered injuries due to the negligent maintenance of Goodwill's property located at 10596 Gandy Blvd St. Petersburg, FL.

On December 11, 2023, Gerdov visited the Goodwill property as a business invitee when he encountered boxes obstructing the walkway. Represented by attorney Cord Grimes from Kemp Law Group, Gerdov claims that this created a dangerous condition unknown to him.
