Woman sues Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal LLC for Negligence in Two Separate Car Accidents

India James has filed a lawsuit against Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal, LLC, Ubaldo Shadami Nunez Chavez, Ray Walter Mendel, and Jo Ellen Mendel in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case ID is 24-002088-CI, and it was e-filed on May 13, 2024. The suit seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for injuries sustained in two separate motor vehicle collisions.

On June 22, 2023, Ubaldo Shadami Nunez Chavez allegedly operated a vehicle owned by Latite Roofing negligently, resulting in a collision with India James' vehicle at Roosevelt Blvd. and 58th St. N. James claims to have suffered significant injuries requiring medical treatment costing over $75,000. Additionally, on June 27, 2023, Jo Ellen Mendel allegedly caused another collision while driving a vehicle owned by Ray Walter Mendel at U.S. Hwy. 19 and Curlew Rd., further exacerbating James' injuries.

James is represented by attorneys Eric D. Roslansky from The Ruth Law Team and Darren Finebloom from The Law Place. She is seeking compensation for bodily injury, pain and suffering, medical expenses exceeding $75,000 per incident, loss of earnings capacity, and other related damages.

The plaintiff demands judgment for damages against all defendants collectively for their combined negligence that contributed to her injuries. She also seeks the costs of this action and a trial by jury.
