Beatriz Romero has filed a lawsuit against Bill Fink, doing business as Chick-Fil-A, Inc., and Jane Doe in the Circuit Court of the 6th Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The lawsuit concerns premises liability and negligence following an incident where Romero sustained injuries at a Chick-Fil-A location.
According to the complaint, Romero visited the Chick-Fil-A at 3740 Tampa Road, Oldsmar, Florida on November 27, 2023. While exiting the restaurant with her food and special needs child, she tripped over an uneven section of a handicap ramp near the drive-through lane. As a result of this fall, Romero suffered significant personal injuries including pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, and medical expenses.

Carl from Morgan & Morgan P.A., alleges that both defendants had either actual or constructive knowledge of the hazardous condition but failed to take appropriate actions to rectify it.
