In the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, Santos Esteban Sauceda Molina has filed a lawsuit against ALDI (Florida) LLC d/b/a ALDI. The case, identified as 502024CA004555XXXAMB and filed on May 16, 2024, involves allegations of negligence and gross negligence related to a construction site accident.

According to the complaint, represented by attorney Vanessa R. Irvin from Morgan & Morgan, P.A., Molina was hired to perform labor at an ALDI store under construction in West Palm Beach on November 20, 2023. During his work, he fell through a hole in the roof resulting in significant permanent bodily injury including a broken leg. The estimated damages exceed $50,000 exclusive of costs and interest.

The plaintiff asserts that ALDI failed to enforce safety policies and procedures, did not provide adequate training or equipment for workers, and neglected to secure the construction site properly. As a result of these alleged failures, Molina claims he suffered pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of earnings capacity among other damages.

Molina seeks judgment for damages exceeding the jurisdictional minimum along with interest and costs. He demands a jury trial for all triable issues.
