Woman sues Massage Envy West Palm Beach for negligence during massage

On February 17, 2021, Kendra Sanders visited Massage Envy West Palm Beach for a massage session. During the session, her assigned masseuse, known only as Priscilla, allegedly caused injuries by failing to use due care and applying excessive force during her massage session. Sanders claims that this negligence resulted in severe bodily harm and various other damages. 

The damages claimed include pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses, loss of earnings and earning capacity. These losses are described as permanent and continuing. Sanders seeks compensatory damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of interest and costs.

Ms. Sanders has filed a lawsuit against Marklin Clinic, Inc., doing business as Massage Envy West Palm Beach, in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case ID is 502024CA004475XXXAMB and was e-filed on May 14, 2024. The lawsuit concerns allegations of negligence resulting in injury during a massage session. The plaintiff's attorney is Kristin L. Stocks from Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A.

Sanders is seeking judgment for compensatory damages above $50,000 along with interest and costs. She also demands a jury trial for all issues triable by jury.
