Norma Alejandro has filed a lawsuit against Cross County Owner, LLC and Madison Properties USA, LLC in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case, identified as 502024CA004362XXXAMB, was filed on May 10, 2024. The lawsuit concerns an incident where Alejandro alleges she sustained serious injuries due to a negligently maintained walkway at a shopping plaza owned and managed by the defendants.

According to the complaint, on September 10, 2023, Alejandro tripped and fell on an uneven walkway between Ross Dress for Less and Rainbow Shops at Cross County Plaza. She claims that both Cross County Owner and Madison Properties failed to maintain the premises safely or warn her of concealed dangers. The plaintiff's attorneys from Simon Trial Firm argue that these failures resulted in significant physical harm to Alejandro.

Alejandro is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for medical expenses, pain and suffering, loss of earnings, and other related costs. She alleges that her injuries are permanent and will continue to affect her quality of life.

The plaintiff demands judgment for all damages incurred due to the negligence of both defendants. She also requests a jury trial to resolve the issues presented in her complaint.
