Daniel J. Bursky and Jennifer D. Eisenstat, individually and as personal representatives of the Estate of Dolores Bursky, have filed a lawsuit against Lori M. Daniele in the Circuit Court for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA004138XXXAMB Div: AK and was filed on May 2, 2024.
The plaintiffs accuse Ms. Daniele of negligence leading to the death of Dolores Bursky. On May 22, 2022, Dolores was hit by a car driven by Daniele while crossing an intersection in Boca Raton, Florida. The complaint alleges that Daniele had smoked marijuana that morning and disregarded a red traffic signal before hitting Dolores.
Dolores sustained severe injuries from the collision and died three days later at Delray Medical Center. As a result of her death, the plaintiffs claim they have suffered pecuniary losses and funeral expenses.
The plaintiffs are seeking monetary damages exceeding the jurisdictional minimum of the court, exclusive of interest, costs, and attorney’s fees.
