In the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, plaintiff Darlene Rose Raffetto has filed a lawsuit against Delray Sands Resort. The case number is 502024CA004013XXXAMB Div: Al and was filed on April 30, 2024. The complaint alleges negligence on the part of the resort resulting in serious bodily injuries to Ms. Raffetto.

On March 3, 2023, Raffetto sustained injuries due to a fall caused by wet cement at Delray Sands Resort. She also claims that the negligence of the resort's employees contributed to her accident. The damages sought exceed $50,000 and are within the jurisdiction of this court.

Raffetto alleges that Delray Sands Resort breached its duty to keep its premises safe for invitees like herself. She asserts that the resort created an unreasonably dangerous condition, failed to conduct reasonable inspections for such conditions, and did not adequately warn her about them.

The plaintiff seeks compensation for physical injuries, mental pain and suffering, loss of income (both past and future), medical expenses related to her injuries, physical handicap and disfigurement she suffered as a result of her fall. Her injuries are said to be permanent and continuing in nature.
