In the Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, a lawsuit has been filed by Kimberly Goll against General Motors LLC. The case number is 502024CA004012XXXAMB Div: AD, with the filing made on April 30, 2024. Kimberly Goll is represented by Krohn & Moss, Ltd., while General Motors LLC stands as the defendant.

The plaintiff alleges that General Motors engaged in aggressive advertising and marketing campaigns to induce consumers to purchase its vehicles from authorized dealerships. She leased a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 from Shumacher GMC, an authorized dealership of General Motors. The agreed value of the vehicle was approximately $75,014.31 excluding collateral charges such as registration charges, document fees, sales tax, bank charges and finance charges.

However, due to ineffective repair attempts made by General Motors through its authorized dealership network, the vehicle did not operate properly at all times. This led to the filing of a lawsuit seeking damages in excess of $50,000 exclusive of attorney's fees and court costs.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment for damages resulting from alleged deceptive practices by General Motors. The claim is based on the issuance of written warranties that were allegedly not honored by the manufacturer.
