Shannon Inzano sues Jaime Deiter for dog attack causing serious bodily injury

Shannon Inzano, as the natural parent and legal guardian of minor F.I., has filed a lawsuit against Jaime Deiter in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA003789XXXAMB Div: AA and was filed on April 23, 2024. The lawsuit alleges that Deiter's dog attacked F.I., causing serious bodily injury.

The incident reportedly occurred on March 18, 2024, when F.I. was a guest at Deiter's property located at 4241 Hunting Trail in Palm Beach County, Florida. Both parties are residents of Palm Beach County. Andres Hermida from Morgan & Morgan, P.A. represents Inzano.

Inzano seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for physical injury, mental pain and suffering, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life, loss of past wages and future earning capacity, permanent disability and disfigurement, medical expenses among others suffered by F.I. as a result of the alleged attack. According to Florida Statute §767.04 cited in the complaint, Deiter is strictly liable for any damages caused by his dog.
