Alan Rosenbaum, as the personal representative of the late Sylvia Lovinger's estate, has filed a lawsuit against Darcy Hall Medical Investors, LLC., also known as Darcy Hall of Life Care. The case was lodged in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida under case number 502024CA003563XXXAMB Div: AJ on April 16, 2024.
Rosenbaum alleges that during Lovinger's residency at Darcy Hall of Life Care, the staff failed to develop an adequate care plan and properly monitor her health. This negligence allegedly led to the development and deterioration of infections and sepsis, respiratory failure, and dehydration.
The plaintiff seeks damages exceeding $50,000 for violations of Lovinger's resident rights under Florida Statute §400. He claims that these violations are based solely on custodial care issues and that all conditions precedent to filing this action have been satisfied.
