In the Circuit Court of the 6th Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, a lawsuit has been filed by Kenneth Lamar King against Jai Laxminarayan LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Days Inn by Wyndham St. Petersburg Central. The case, numbered 24-001691-CI, was filed on April 16, 2024.

The plaintiff, Kenneth Lamar King, represented by his counsel, alleges that he suffered damages exceeding $50,000 due to the defendant's negligence. On December 26, 2023, King claims he was injured at the defendant's property located at 650 34th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713 due to a plumbing failure in the bathroom which caused a slipping hazard.

King argues that Jai Laxminarayan LLC failed to maintain their property in a safe condition and did not warn him about the dangerous situation caused by the plumbing failure. He maintains that he was lawfully present at the property as a business invitee when he encountered the hazardous condition.

In his complaint for damages, King is seeking compensation for his injuries and losses from Jai Laxminarayan LLC. He asserts that all conditions precedent to bringing this action have occurred or have been otherwise waived.
