Jose Guillermo, individually and as a parent and legal guardian of KG, a minor, has filed a lawsuit against Heidi Sue Hansen in the Circuit Court for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case ID is 24-001690-CI and was filed on April 16, 2024. The complaint alleges that Hansen negligently operated her vehicle resulting in a collision that caused significant injuries to both Guillermo and his minor child.
Guillermo's lawyer argues that on October 10, 2023, Hansen carelessly drove her 2019 Honda Civic at the intersection of North Betty Lane and Palmetto Street, causing it to collide with Guillermo's vehicle. As a direct result of this accident, Guillermo and his minor child suffered serious and permanent injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of costs and interest. The damages include bodily injury, physical pain and suffering, disability, loss of capacity to lead a normal life, physical impairment, disfigurement and scarring among others.
