Diana Quinones has filed a lawsuit against Moran Foods, LLC and John Doe in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case, identified as 24-001368-CI, was filed on March 26, 2024. Quinones is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for an incident that occurred at a business owned by Moran Foods.

Quinones alleges that while visiting a Save A Lot store, owned and operated by Moran Foods, she slipped and fell due to a slippery substance on the floor. The incident took place on October 4, 2023 at the store located at 1804 62nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg in Pinellas County. As a result of the fall, Quinones sustained personal injuries.

The plaintiff claims that her fall and subsequent injuries were solely due to the negligent manner in which Moran Foods and its employees managed and maintained their premises. She argues that as a business invitee, she was owed a duty of care by the defendants.

Quinones is seeking judgment against Moran Foods for negligence. She alleges that they failed to provide a reasonably safe environment by not maintaining non-slippery floors and not warning customers about potential hazards. She also accuses them of creating hazardous conditions by allowing their floors to become slippery.
