Kevin Hurt has filed a lawsuit against Andre Lestage, Scott Fink, and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case ID is 24-001376-CI and was filed on March 26, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence on part of the defendants resulting in personal injury and seeks damages exceeding $50,000.
Hurt claims that on November 16, 2022, he was struck by a vehicle operated by Lestage while riding his bicycle. Subsequently, on January 30, 2023, Hurt was involved in another accident when his vehicle collided with a car driven by Fink. The plaintiff asserts that both incidents were due to the defendants' careless operation of their vehicles.
As a result of these accidents, Hurt suffered bodily injuries including pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish and loss of capacity for enjoyment of life. He also incurred expenses for hospitalization, medical care and treatment and experienced loss of earnings and ability to earn money.
Hurt is seeking a trial by jury and judgment against both Lestage and Fink within the jurisdictional limits of the court. He also demands any other relief to which he may be justly entitled.
