Marva Comrie-Hackett sues Betty Sumers Weissman for negligence leading to personal injury

Marva Comrie-Hackett has filed a lawsuit against Betty Sumers Weissman and Sander Weissman in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County, Florida. The case, identified as 502024CA002797XXXAMB Div: AK, was filed on March 26, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence on the part of the defendants leading to personal injury.

Represented by her attorneys, Comrie-Hackett alleges that she was a passenger in the defendants' vehicle at the time of an accident on March 7, 2023. The accident occurred when Betty Sumers Weissman negligently made a right-hand turn violating the right of way of another vehicle driven by Andrew Borick.

The plaintiff claims damages in excess of $50,000 exclusive of interest and costs. She suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life among other losses due to the accident.

Comrie-Hackett is seeking judgment plus costs and interest against both defendants. She further demands trial by jury for negligence on part of Betty Sumers Weissman and vicarious liability on part of Sander Weissman who owned the vehicle involved in the accident.
