Alyssa Westhorpe has filed a lawsuit against Agassiz Holdings South, LLC, Channing Villas Homeowners Assoc., Inc., JDM Property Managers, LLC, and Sea Breeze Community Management Services, Inc. in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA002914XXXAMB Div: AO and was filed on March 28, 2024.

The plaintiff Alyssa Westhorpe alleges that the defendants owned, possessed, maintained, and controlled premises where an incident occurred that caused her damages. The complaint specifies that this is an action for damages in excess of $50,000 exclusive of interest, costs and fees.

The complaint further details that all defendants are businesses licensed to operate in Florida and were doing business in Palm Beach County at the time of the incident. It is also stated that they engaged in substantial activity within the state and committed one or more acts enumerated in Section 48.081, 48eaL81%.48.193 Florida Statutes.

Westhorpe is seeking a jury trial and demands compensation for her damages from the defendants. She argues that their ownership and control over the premises where the incident occurred make them responsible for her losses.
