Oscar Mauricio Torrealba sues Eileen Strittmatter for negligence and damages

In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, a lawsuit has been filed by plaintiff Oscar Mauricio Torrealba against defendant Eileen Strittmatter. The case, bearing the ID 24-001649-CI, was filed on April 12, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence on part of the defendant and is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.

Represented by attorneys Nicholas A. Brady and Steve Rawls from The Florida Law Group, Torrealba alleges that while he was lawfully operating a bicycle in Largo, Pinellas County on March 18, 2023, Strittmatter struck him with her vehicle. This incident resulted in severe injuries to Torrealba including permanent personal injuries, pain and suffering both past and present, mental anguish, physical limitations and impairments, decreased capacity for enjoyment of life and decrease of life choices.

The plaintiff further alleges loss of earnings both past and present as well as future medical expenses for care and treatment of his injuries. He also claims aggravation of a preexisting condition due to the accident.

Torrealba seeks judgment against Strittmatter for all damages and relief afforded by Florida law along with costs, interest, pre-judgment interest, post-judgment interest. He further demands trial by jury on all issues so triable.
