In the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, a lawsuit was filed by Gulaine Mareus against Earlayne Mc Cracken and Scott Gollahon on April 10, 2024. The case number is 502024CA003338XXXAMB Div: AE. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants were responsible for an automobile accident that resulted in severe injuries and damages exceeding the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court.

On May 2, 2023, defendant Scott Gollahon was operating a vehicle owned by defendant Earlayne Mc Cracken at 3950 South Congress Avenue in Palm Springs, Palm Beach County, Florida. The plaintiff Gulaine Mareus was also operating her vehicle at the same location when the accident occurred. Gollahon allegedly backed out of his parking space improperly and negligently, causing a severe impact with Mareus's vehicle.

The complaint further alleges that Gollahon's failure to use reasonable care in operating the vehicle led to the accident which caused severe injuries to Mareus. It is stated that there was no opportunity for Mareus to avoid the collision. As a result of this negligence, Mareus has suffered permanent bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability and disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life among other health-related expenses.

Mareus is seeking judgment for damages against Gollahon and demands trial by jury. She also holds Mc Cracken responsible under dangerous instrumentality for giving permission to Gollahon to operate the vehicle at the time of the accident.
