Hattie sues Craig for car accident damages

In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida, a lawsuit has been filed by plaintiff Hattie Howard against defendants Craig Brown, Kelsey Brown, and Progressive Select Insurance Company. The case number is 24-001644-CI and was filed on April 12, 2024.

The complaint details that on August 5, 2023, Howard was driving in Pinellas Park when her vehicle was hit by a car owned by Craig Brown and operated by Kelsey Brown. The plaintiff's attorneys claim that the accident resulted in bodily injury to Howard including permanent injury, pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement among other damages.

Howard is seeking judgment for damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of costs, interest and attorneys’ fees. She alleges negligence on part of both Browns and claims that her insurance company Progressive Select failed to provide underinsured motorists’ coverage as per their contract.
