In the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida, a lawsuit has been filed by plaintiff Rebecca Potter against defendants Ubens Montour and Marceline Montour. The case, identified as 502024CA003365XXXAMB Div: AH, was filed on April 11, 2024.

The complaint alleges that on November 4, 2022, defendant Ubens Montour negligently operated a vehicle owned by co-defendant Marceline Montour, causing a collision with Potter's stopped vehicle. The plaintiff is represented by Kerri C. Smith from the Law Office of Kerri C. Smith, P.A.

As a result of the accident, Potter claims to have suffered bodily injury and subsequent pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life among other damages. The damages are estimated to exceed $50,000 excluding interest costs and attorney's fees.
