Francis X. McHugh sues Marc Strongwater for alleged misuse of company funds

In the Fifteenth Judicial Court of Palm Beach County, Florida, Francis X. McHugh has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Strongwater Restoration Limited Liability Company against Marc Strongwater. The case, bearing the ID 502024CA003202XXXAMB Div: AF, was filed on April 5th, 2024.

Francis X. McHugh and Marc Strongwater are both managers and members of the company in question. According to the complaint, Strongwater withdrew $1,373,000 from the company's bank account without McHugh's knowledge or consent and used at least $100,000 of these funds for personal services.

Furthermore, Strongwater is accused of exacerbating issues with a client by refusing to address their concerns and instead attempting to shift blame onto McHugh. The court filing indicates that this lawsuit seeks more than $1 million in damages.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment against Strongwater for his alleged actions which include conversion and breach of fiduciary duties. He demands the return of misappropriated funds which he claims indisputably belong to the company.
