Kajuan Hutchinson sues Fly High Parks LLC for damages due to alleged negligence

In the Circuit Court of the 6th Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida, Kajuan Hutchinson, as parent and next friend of R. Hutchinson, a minor, has filed a lawsuit against Fly High Parks LLC. The case number is 24-001266-CI and was filed on March 19, 2024.

The plaintiff alleges that while at the defendant's property located at or near 13000 66th St. N., Largo, Florida on October 14, 2023, R. Hutchinson fell and hit his head on a metal rod with inadequate padding while jumping on a trampoline. The damages sought are in excess of $50,000 exclusive of attorney's fees, interest and costs.

The plaintiff claims that Fly High Parks LLC failed to exercise reasonable care in maintaining the trampoline and conducting inspections to ensure no dangerous conditions existed. They also allege that the company failed to warn about the inadequate padding and did not properly train its staff regarding maintenance and safety procedures.

Kajuan Hutchinson is seeking judgment for damages against Fly High Parks LLC in excess of jurisdictional limits; compensatory damages; any and all taxable costs; and such other relief as this Court deems just and proper. The plaintiff's counsel is Jason Turchin from Law Offices of Jason Turchin.
