Ronald Crumbley has filed a lawsuit against Circle K Stores Inc. in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA002285XXXAMB Div: AH and was filed on March 12, 2024. The plaintiff alleges negligence on the part of the defendant leading to personal injury.

The plaintiff, Ronald Crumbley, represented by an unnamed counsel, alleges that he suffered severe and permanent injuries due to the negligent maintenance of premises owned by Circle K Stores Inc. He states that while visiting one of their stores located at 600 Center Street, Jupiter, FL 33458 on March 10, 2023, he flipped over with his electric bicycle due to poor conditions of a designated ramp.

Crumbley further accuses Circle K Stores Inc. of failing to maintain the integrity of the sidewalk designated for visitor use. He seeks damages in excess of $50,001 exclusive of costs, interest, and attorney's fees from each identified defendant.

In his complaint, Crumbley asserts that Circle K Stores Inc., as a government entity operating under Florida law and managing public property within the state, had a duty to keep its premises in a reasonably safe condition. He claims that this duty extended to all invitees including himself and that the defendant failed in its duty by allowing hazardous conditions on its premises.
