Stephanie Hales has filed a lawsuit against SP and West Properties LLC, and SP West Palm LP, also known as Palms West Apartments, in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA002156XXXAMB Div: AH and was filed on March 7, 2024.
The plaintiff alleges that she suffered serious bodily injuries due to negligence on the part of the defendants. Hales' lawyer claims that despite being informed about a leaking air conditioning unit in her apartment at the premises owned by the defendants, no permanent fix was administered.
Hales slipped and fell at her apartment as a result of this issue on February 12, 2022, and again on March 8, 2022. The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 exclusive of interest, costs, and attorney’s fees.
