Robert T. Bashwiner sues Kelvin I. Thompson and Sysco Southeast Florida for property damage

Robert T. Bashwiner has filed a lawsuit against Kelvin I. Thompson, Jr., and Sysco Southeast Florida, LLC in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida under case number 502024CA002496XXXAMB on March 15, 2024. The complaint is for property damage resulting from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on April 20, 2023.

Bashwiner alleges that Thompson was negligently operating a motor vehicle near the Tequesta Country Club which resulted in a collision with Bashwiner's vehicle. The vehicle driven by Thompson was owned by Sysco Southeast Florida, LLC and he was acting within the scope of his employment at the time of the incident.

The plaintiff claims damages exceeding $50,000 including costs for repair to his motor vehicle, insurance deductible for all damages caused and repairs conducted from the incident, loss of use of the vehicle during the reasonable time of repair, and diminution in value to the motor vehicle due to damage and resulting repairs to a vehicle that was virtually new at the time of this incident.
