Global law firm Reed Smith tday announced that associates Toam Rubinstein and Ana R. Ulseth have been named recipients of the 2024 Miami-Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section 40 Under 40 Award. The Miami-Dade Bar recognizes young attorneys in Miami-Dade County who personify excellence in the legal profession.
Rubinstein, a senior associate in Reed Smith’s Entertainment & Media Industry Group, advises clients on transactional and regulatory aspects of brand development, advertising, and media initiatives, including talent services for athletes and celebrities, branded entertainment and sponsorship deals, product innovation and licensing, endorsement and influencer marketing, new media developments, emerging and traditional media distribution, content production and clearance, sweepstakes and promotions, as well as live event production. Rubinstein is a member of the firm’s sports law team, representing agencies and sponsors in their transactional and compliance matters, as well as the cannabis law team, where she guides members of the cannabis industry in navigating the complex regulatory environment in connection with their advertising and brand development initiatives.
Ulseth is an associate in Reed Smith’s Global Commercial Disputes Group, and regularly represents clients in complex litigation matters, within the state & federal court system, and in international commercial & investment arbitration proceedings. She focuses her practice on international dispute resolution across a myriad of sectors, including in telecommunications, entertainment, renewable energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, technology, aviation & aerospace. Ulseth is often invited as a guest lecturer to her alma matter, FIU College of Law, where she has taught courses on various complex, international dispute resolution topics to JD and LLM students. Ulseth is admitted to practice law in Florida and Washington D.C.
This is the second annual Miami-Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section 40 Under 40 award, with Reed Smith associate Jessica Gopiao having been honored in 2023.
Rubinstein and Ulseth will be recognized at an award ceremony during the Miami-Dade Bar YLS ‘Miami Nights’ event on February 22, 2024 at the Coral Gables Museum.
