When embattled social media influencer Andrew Tate filed a $5 million lawsuit last month against one of his accusers in the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit for Palm Beach County, attorney Jack Beeston wasn’t surprised.

“It is, unfortunately, the most recent example of a pattern which has been adopted by Andrew Tate, in particular, to rewrite his own history since his arrest in Romania,” he said.

Tate sued Emma Gabbey, who lives in Palm Beach County, on July 12 alleging defamation, false imprisonment, civil conspiracy, tortious interference, intentional infliction, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Other defendants named in the suit include Gabbey’s parents, Mona Tabbara Gabbey and William Gabbey, as well as Aliona Untila and Matthieu Martelly.

“E. Gabbey published a litany of false defamatory statements to multiple public agencies and private citizens during and after leaving Romania,” wrote Tate’s attorneys Thomas Maniotis and Joseph McBride in the complaint. “She consistently claims that she was not free to leave and was in danger. The truth is that during her six-day trip to Romania, she shopped, went sightseeing, was free to leave at any time, and even attended a birthday party.”

Tate is charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit women and is currently under house arrest along with his brother Tristan in Romania while awaiting trial, according to media reports.

Beeston represents four British women whose complaints against Tate date back to the time when he lived in England prior to relocating to Romania in 2017.

"Our clients’ accusations are against Andrew Tate only," he said. "Three of them accuse him of rape and all four accuse him of physical assaults, threats to life, and other verbal abuse, which they allege caused significant trauma and psychiatric harm."

In interviews with conservative pundits Candace Owen and Tucker Carlson, Tate denies all allegations.

“Andrew has in the past described in detail the methodology he uses for doxing those who speak out against him, saying that he is prepared to sue people’s family members, and tie them up in proceedings for vast periods of time, just to destroy their lives,” Beeston told the Florida Record. “This present complaint is in my mind an example of that strategy being put into practice.”

A crowdfunding webpage is collecting contributions to pay for a civil suit that Beeston plans to file against Tate on behalf of his clients.

Tate has also launched a website called Free Tate.

Last week, messages that allegedly show Andrew Tate's trafficking tactics were published in Rolling Stone.

“If they are authentic, and I have no reason to believe that they are not, then these messages show the gamification of abuse allegedly employed by the Tates and their so-called ‘War Room,’” Beeston added. “They are deeply unpleasant to read, referring to women as targets and offer a glimpse into the scale and extent of the operation allegedly run by the Tates, for which they will stand trial in Romania.”

Tate’s legal counsel, Joseph McBride, canceled a scheduled interview with the Florida Record and did not respond to requests for comment about the leaked text messages.
