Ryan Girnun and Eric Lundt have joined the Firm in its Miami Office as partners in the Real Estate Practice and Business & Tort Litigation Practice, respectively.

Mr. Girnun has significant experience advising clients in a wide variety of real estate and financing matters. He represents domestic and international investors, funds, local and national developers, lenders, privately held and public companies, REITs, and other institutions. Mr. Girnun is frequently retained to provide counsel for the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, management, and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, as well as restructurings and workouts.

At Jones Day, Mr. Girnun joins a global team of more than 120 lawyers in the Firm's Real Estate Practice who provide clients with comprehensive legal solutions to business opportunities by drawing on their experience in the real estate industry worldwide and collaborating with their Firm colleagues in environmental law, tax law, financial services, corporate law, and dispute resolution.
Mr. Girnun is ranked in Chambers USA 2022, in the category of Florida real estate attorneys, for having a broad practice with strengths in both real estate transactions and financing work. He earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in New York.
Mr. Lundt's practice focuses on litigation involving individual high-exposure cases and managing mass tort dockets, with particular experience in matters involving toxic torts, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and products liability. He also has extensive appellate experience.
"Eric adds his demonstrated high-caliber abilities to our deep bench of attorneys playing significant roles defending our clients in high-stakes cases in state and federal courts," said Stephanie Parker, co-leader of the Firm's Business & Tort Litigation Practice, who oversees the product liability litigation practice. "He adds to the breadth and depth of our product liability trial teams who often take on lengthy, and often simultaneous, trials."
Mr. Lundt has obtained numerous defense verdicts and summary judgments in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of several Fortune 500 companies, including a defense verdict in a multimillion dollar wrongful death negligent security case for a major oil company; obtained two defense verdicts for a pharmaceutical company in high-profile personal injury cases involving claims for punitive damages; achieved numerous summary judgments and voluntary dismissals with prejudice for medical device manufacturers in product liability actions throughout Florida; and achieved numerous summary judgments and dismissals with prejudice for clients involved in asbestos litigation.
Mr. Lundt earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami.
