Eliot Pedrosa appointed to Florida Supreme Court's judicial management council

Eliot Pedrosa, a partner in Jones Day's Business & Tort Litigation Practice, has been appointed to Florida's judicial management council (JMC) by Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz. With 15 voting members and one non-voting member, the JMC plays an advisory role to Florida's chief justice and Supreme Court, proactively identifying trends and potential crisis situations and the means to address them.

Based in the Firm's Miami Office, Mr. Pedrosa is a first-chair litigator and trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience representing businesses in complex and challenging products liability and commercial litigation. He has led teams in numerous commercial jury trials and arbitrations involving M&A, software licensing, broadcast media rights, and international commercial transactions. He recently completed a term as the Senate-confirmed Executive Director of the Inter-American Development Bank.
